75cl Bottle @ Kulminator, Antwerp. Vintage 2000 (best before 080802). Hazy darker blond coloured with some yeast parts floating. Light carbonation remaining with a dence but medium white head. Rather special sweet herby hinted aroma with touches of vanilla, fruit esthers (banana, orange). Full palate. Finish is vanilla yeast light alcoholic. Special, slight hints of elderness but still aged rather good. Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, POLAND - DEC 31, 2011
75cl bottle from 2001. Yeah, this beer is 11 years and I hope it aged well ! I’m going to pour it into a Westvleterren 12 15cl trappist glass. I kept it especially to celebrate 2012 ! Golden with practical no head. Nose : caramel with strong raisins notes. Dough aromas. Deep alcohol and spices aromas. Some vanilla. It has a very distinctive whysky like aromas. Sip : Almost flat and oily. Sweet start with delicate layers of sour ale like notes. Well fruity and dry. It’s really well balanced and mild. It has a lambic feeling but still a texture and color of a blond ale. It develops a taste similar to a chocolate, hazel nut tart. Well done with amazing abilities to age. UPDATED: NOV 6, 2011 11 years old bottle. Light orange very clear beer, small head, disappears a bit quick, but with this age... Pretty decent beer, a very slightly sourness getting trough, with a nice liquorish, a bit dusty smell and fruity taste. Good at the aftertaste. The bottle says MechelsE Reuzenbier.

Clear medium orange color, many small body particles, a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, fruity, honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
200 vintage tasted at the Kulmintor in September 2008. Murky orange with light tan head, surprisingly lively for its age. Aroma of caramel and honey. Full-bodied. Taste of raisins and banana bread. Licorice finish. No bitterness. Mellow. kmweaver (3208) - Petaluma, California, USA - AUG 30, 2008
750mL bottle, 2002 vintage, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron!! Pours a murky, golden-brown color; light tan head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Very pleasant, generous dry aroma: toasty malts, caramel (plenty of oxidation), and honey; pleasant yeast character. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy bready malts, caramel, honey, and complex yeast; very nice, effervescent feel in the mouth; zesty, crisp and dry; nothing overripe; the oxidation adds a layer of complexity; very pleasantly aged beer. Lengthy finish: pepper, toasty malts, bread, and honey; restrained sweetness at the far end. mjs (7685) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 18, 2008
(0.75 l bottle at Kulminator on 2008-05-17) Pale amber colour. A bit cloudy. White big head. A bit spicy and clearly fruity nose. Medium bodied palate with some fizziness. Taste is fruity and there are caramell, malts, raisin and liquorice flavours. Really nice. oberabcbbsok (693) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - FEB 5, 2008
