COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Meckatzer Urweizen fulfills all demands for a dark Weizen in a most natural way. It takes its dark colour, as well as its well-rounded taste exclusively from the fine Caramelmalts used.

ciocanelu (2454) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JUL 25, 2016
Hazy dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma has fresh yeast, oranges, cloves and wheat. Taste starts with some clean malt followed by yeast flavor, finish is slightly astringent with orange flavor. Medium to full bodied with medium effervescence. Overall it’s a really balanced beer. Not as dark and roasty as other dunkelweizens, just a bit more heavy than a standard hefeweizen.

(Bottle, Aufsturz, Berlin, 15 July 2015) Reddish brown colour, hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of crisp-bread, banana and brown sugar. Malty taste with crisp-bread, toasted malt, orange peel and banana. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite enjoyable.
