Can @ San Juan, Puerto Rico. Light yellow beer with a small white head. Light and light aroma of malt with notes of grain. The taste of sweet malt and maybe corn. Metalis and slightly tart in flavor and aftertaste blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Cans. Pours yellowish and fizzy. Relatively inoffensive, even as it warms in the noon sun it doesn’t get TOO bad. italarican (1550) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 18, 2012
Many a bottle and can while vacationing/on business in Puerto Rico. I mean, just look at the description and you can tell what to expect here. Honestly, it was a middle-of-the-road macro light lager. That’s actually a compliment; it’s no less shitty than the rest. Overall nonoffensive but not good. I ultimately chose to go the mojito/pina colada route primarily. Pretty much identical to all the other American macro stuff. Very watery in every aspect but made for a light and refreshing beach beer. Bricks (1126) - Delaware, USA - DEC 25, 2011
A solid swiller. Like Miller Lite. Good on a hot day and the price is right.

Poured a very pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet with cardboard and some corn. Taste is also a little sweet with rice, corn, and sole light fruit. Slightly skunky. Pretty much your standard macro pale lager. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2011
A gift purely for the rating. A corn made beer with a shunky aroma and watery muthfeel.
Medalla Light was made for the type of beer that is commonly drank in Puerto Rico. The weather is hot all year around. So, Puerto Ricans like light pale lagers. They are not bitter ale drinkers or Belgian beer drinkers. The beer is good, tasty and refreshing. alopiasmag (1) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 27, 2011 does not count
Nice beer for hot summer temperatures. Needs to be very cold. Pale color, slight aroma. Very slight malt taste.
