Medalla Light was made for the type of beer that is commonly drank in Puerto Rico. The weather is hot all year around. So, Puerto Ricans like light pale lagers. They are not bitter ale drinkers or Belgian beer drinkers. The beer is good, tasty and refreshing. alopiasmag (1) - Oklahoma, USA - JUN 27, 2011 does not count
Nice beer for hot summer temperatures. Needs to be very cold. Pale color, slight aroma. Very slight malt taste. mcc5468 (122) - USA - NOV 24, 2010
Drinkable. Local beer in Puerto Rico. If you don’t want to spend $10 for a Sam Adams, there is no other alternative. Actually, not a bad light beer. champ8715 (1) - USA - JUL 26, 2010 does not count
I love this beer! Goes down cool & crisp with a clean taste. Beats all american light beers. I need thin on Long Island, New York!!!! sfontain (851) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2010
Pale golden color; lively bubbles; small white ring as a head. Aroma light, sweet, and corny. Flavor is light, just barely metallic, and lightly bitter but surprisingly so. Thin and watery mouthfeel as expected. Better than most of the cheap American light lagers.

When I lived in Puerto Rico, this was my go to beverage of choice. But, then again, I didn’t have many other options... Reminiscent of Corona Light, but better in my opinion. popkow (308) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Like any other US light beer, water, corn and some alcohol. Had this in Puerto Rico under the hot sun which help rehydrate me. HalfCockedJack (16) - Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2010
Aroma-Slight grassiness and the smell of carbonation. Appearance-Very pale, no head. Taste - Wan flavor influenced by slight malt and fillers (rice). Palate- Fizzy like a soft drink. Light briny mouthfeel mixed with baking soda. Overall- Think back to your preschool days, when the teacher tried to get the Kool-Aid to go further by doubling the water while halving the sugar. That explains this beer. Puerto Rico should thank God that they make good rum, because they are in no danger of producing a good beer. NelsonPR (23) - MIlWAUKEE, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Not a great beer, better than Coors Light nothing else. Corn, grass, watery taste. high carbonation, Nice beer to cut grass. MaltOMeal (1094) - Land of Sugar, Texas, USA - APR 15, 2010
bottle brought back from Puerto Rico by the lovely Linda. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is skunky grain. taste is yucky. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with good carbonation and a slight bitterness. Blech! Drainpour.
