This stuff is everywhere in Puerto Rico, and pretty cheap ($4-5 for a six-pack). Not bad as light beers go. Crisp, dry, and watery with a bit of corniness. Nothing special, but refreshing for a day on the beach. biokid23 (102) - California, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Compare to any super light lager. Not worth the trouble, unless you happen to be in PR. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 6, 2014
12oz bottle 1/30/13 (Parrot Club-Old San Juan)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was just another typical pale lager. Nalsim (3) - PUERTO RICO - FEB 6, 2014 does not count
This is no game changer or anything made to impress you. It’s a Americanized bastardization of German pilsners. It’s the Puerto Rican version of Coors, Budweiser and Miller. Nothing special here but it’s a lot better than it’s US counter parts. There is no flaws in this beer in terms of off-flavors, it just lack any good flavor. For this reason I take this well brewed watery corn based lager over badly off-flavored craft lagers.
Aroma – Corn… malted water…
Appearance – pale corn… malted water…
Taste – corn… water…
Mouthfeel – thin, watery

Backlog rating from my visit to Puerto Rico in July 2008. 12 oz bottle. Poured a boring clear golden color with little a thin white head. Crisp taste of corn, hay, tap water, and grains. Well carbonated, thin watery body.

Can: drank straight from the can, white head. Aroma is light grass. Taste is wet, light grain and corn. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Bland tasting light beer, pale yellow color, with little to no head. Not very good. envane (570) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 5, 2013
You’re in Puerto Rico, what more do you expect? The other one (Magna) was slightly better. pkbites (947) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Bottle @ La Concha Resort, San Juan. Average looking gold pour with thin white frothy head. Grainy aroma and flavor. Zero hop bitterness. Surprisingly dry. Not great, but for a light beer not terrible. For what it is it isn’t too shabby. Decent thirst quencher on the beach. chronictonic (472) - Oreland, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Golden pour medium white head. Somewhat offputting aroma when first poured. After a minute smells like any other macro mass produced commercial light lager. Flavor is the same - maybe less corn flavors than some others. Nothing wrong for what it is but certainly not something you’d ever seek out.
