Bottle @ La Concha Resort, San Juan. Average looking gold pour with thin white frothy head. Grainy aroma and flavor. Zero hop bitterness. Surprisingly dry. Not great, but for a light beer not terrible. For what it is it isn’t too shabby. Decent thirst quencher on the beach. chronictonic (490) - Oreland, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Golden pour medium white head. Somewhat offputting aroma when first poured. After a minute smells like any other macro mass produced commercial light lager. Flavor is the same - maybe less corn flavors than some others. Nothing wrong for what it is but certainly not something you’d ever seek out. Imaena (2359) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - SEP 20, 2013
Can. This is a truly awful lager with nothing worth mentioning. Do not drink this unless forced. bytemesis (9240) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Bottle. thanks to Homer321 for country #83~! Pours crystal clear golden yellow with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is hugely corny, fruity, notes of green pear and cardboard. Flavor is medium sweet with minimal bitterness. Light body. Tick! cubs (10714) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Bottle @ home courtesy of Homer321. Thanks Homey! Pours a clear yellow appearance with an off white head. Slightly sweet grainy, a bit spicy, zesty nose. Refreshing, crisp light flavor with a touch of metallic and a hint of lemon. Probably decent on a hot day on a beach in Puerto Rico.

LOL...first off I read the comment before this rating and I love it! I agree that Medalla Light is brewed in a GREAT PLACE. Puerto Rico is a 5. Unfortunately Medalla is much less than that. It is an non-complex, uninteresting lager that tastes mostly of water and corn. jr37751 (1) - Marshfield, Massachusetts, USA - APR 24, 2013 does not count
This is the best fucking beer in the world in the best fucking place in the world. Sorry you over educated beer common sewers snobs....Good shit in the sun and trade winds! nearbeer (5606) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 21, 2013
UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 This is an industrial light lager along the lines of all others brewed in the same general latitude. It smells, tastes and looks like a beer-flavored water. It thrives on the basis of being the best choice (and a near monopoly) on the island. At least it’s always lawn mowing weather in PR. Had a can from Puerto Rico, thanks Josh. Light pale adjunct lager. Drinkable, but also very comparable to seltzer in taste. Pretty neutral and not as bad as I thought.
