296ml can shared from a peurto rica friend. Pours clear and white head that doesn’t last very long . classic hay and sweet corn aroma. Light beer with little flavour but is typical of island lagers of the south.

Not offenssive; light and refreshing on a very hot day. Better drunk quite chilled; if you let it warm, you’ll regret it!

San Juan Airport, bottle: Gold and fizzy. Light-bodied. Had a sweet malt base (noticeable DMS) that was rather "beery." Some bitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Other than some corn notes, no major offenses. Typical bland light lager for Caribbean drinking.

Had a ton of this in Puerto Rico and non of it was very good. Watered down with a sickly finish. If your there I say stick with the DonQ rum.

Can sampled with Beerded_one. Thanks to a fellow worker who took a carribean cruise. Pours pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts and grain. The flavor is very lightly bitter upfront, then a whole lot of nothing, and finishes with a grain.

Just came back from PR and I must say I really enjoyed the Medalla light. It has all the simpleness of a mass produced brew, it was very lite and very drinkable. Especially in the heat after snorkeling it helped rinse the salt water out of my mouth....

I traveled through western PR last winter and this beer was everywhere. It is certainly better than Corona or Heineken, both of which left me feeling tired in the Puerto Rican heat. This beer is lighter than anything I ordinarily drink by several degrees, but it’s just the thing when you’re having a barbeque on the beach.

Pours clear pale straw with no head. Highly carbonated. Aroma is not too offensive. Flavor was typical pale lager grainy crap This is a ’when in rome’ beer for me. I wouldn’t drink it unless I was in Puerto Rico.

Sampled as a precursor to Dogbrick’s Eurostash tasting. Clear yellow color with a big white head. Typical pale lager aroma of lager yeast and faint hop. Flavor is about the same with a touch of malt.
