LOL...first off I read the comment before this rating and I love it! I agree that Medalla Light is brewed in a GREAT PLACE. Puerto Rico is a 5. Unfortunately Medalla is much less than that. It is an non-complex, uninteresting lager that tastes mostly of water and corn. Headbanger (3989) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 6, 2014
12oz bottle 1/30/13 (Parrot Club-Old San Juan)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew was just another typical pale lager. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2015
UPDATED: APR 10, 2015 Bottle. Clear pale gold with short and dissipating white head. Aroma reminds of Malzbier with a strong saccharine note, it smells sugary (simple syrup) with an odd off-note of DEET bug repellent. Light bodied, lightly sweet, low bitterness, low carbonation... simple, fizzy and watery with potato-like starchiness, finishes off-dry with mild bitterness. The aroma is certainly worse than the flavor, which seems extremely diluted and mild, so it serves its purpose of being mindlessly drinkable when chilled. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 27, 2015

X. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is mild rubber, some toffee and grains. Flavour is grains, mild cardboard and some herbal notes.
296ml can shared from a peurto rica friend. Pours clear and white head that doesn’t last very long . classic hay and sweet corn aroma. Light beer with little flavour but is typical of island lagers of the south.

Not offenssive; light and refreshing on a very hot day. Better drunk quite chilled; if you let it warm, you’ll regret it! Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JAN 5, 2004
San Juan Airport, bottle: Gold and fizzy. Light-bodied. Had a sweet malt base (noticeable DMS) that was rather "beery." Some bitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Other than some corn notes, no major offenses. Typical bland light lager for Caribbean drinking.
