Very little flavor. Watery and ’Coors Light-like’, but somehow it’s drinkable on a hot day at the beach in Puerto Rico. Would not drink it anywhere else though. Enniskillen (2051) - Bakersfield, California, USA - OCT 3, 2006
Not a good beer. Just regular fizzy corn water. It’s not skunked with is a plus, but probably the only one. pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Not bad for a hot Old San Juan day. Small head, low flavor on the bitter side. abcfan (920) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 1, 2008
Ugh...very pale and fizzy brew, tastes just like Bud Light. This brew is all over the place in PR, good thing I was able to find Old Harbor! junkeee (22) - Edina, Minnesota, USA - JAN 30, 2009
UPDATED: APR 18, 2013 The ’Miller Lite’ of Puerto Rico. Available everywhere, seemingly in every store, bar and restaurant. Limp, lifeless, soulless beer. Nothing distinctive at all. Drink only as a last resort.

bottle brought back from Puerto Rico by the lovely Linda. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is skunky grain. taste is yucky. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with good carbonation and a slight bitterness. Blech! Drainpour. fonefan (48669) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2015

Can 330ml. @ [ PBF X ] Petalax Beer Festival 2015 by oh6gdx, Petalax, Finland.
[ As Medalla Light ].
[ As my country rating # 153 on ratebeer ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, corn, light cardboard. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt - corn, cardboard, pale malt. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.
I decided to try this beer when visiting Puerto Rico a couple of days ago. The color was pale golden. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was a little yeasty. The flavor was corny. The palate was thin bodied and watery. The finish was abrupt and lacking. It was nice to have this beer on a really hot day to go with your sandwhich. It was quenching, like water...but that’s just it...it was like water. Beerdedone (3401) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2007
Can sampled with stegosaurus. Poursa light golden color with a small head. Aroma of pale malts and light grains. Flavor is similar to aroma with a very thin and watery body. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - APR 4, 2010
I admit I drank a few of these in Puerto Rico and in the hot sun it worked OK, but really a pretty bad lager.
