Tap @ Meinel Braü, Hof. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Grass, dough, bread and grains. Faint citrus hop. Dry and crisp. Superb!

Draught, as Meinel-Bräu Pils. Clear golden colour, small white head. Nice, refreshing citric aroma. A little nice yeast flavour in aftertaste. The bitterness is clean but slightly rough.

Mariusz (12300) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 2, 2012
Golden color with small white head. Aroma, malt, some fruit. Taste, malty, fruity. Quite sweet with hints of bitterness.

3.6
pivnizub (10905) - Bochum, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2006
Bottle: Pale golden, very stable big fluffy head; clean sweet-malty nose with a mild, but distinctive floral hoppy touch; soft MF, light to medium bodied, the distinctive bitter taste is well balanced by a light malty body; soft, aromatic bitter-sweet finish, lingering a bit. A fine classic Pils, that really deserves this name...................

2.5
Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2011
It’s light golden with a huge, creamy head, and the aroma is weak with notes of straw, malt and grain. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of straw, malt, cabbage/cardboard, and the finish is harsh and slightly dry.

2.6
MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2006
(bottle, with thanks to pivnizub) Clear, golden colour with a foamy white medium, stable head. Slightly dusty and sweet strawy malty aroma with herbal hops. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Strawy malty taste with a touch of honey and light notes of vegetables; medium-dry, light bitter finish with shy notes of hops. Not very challenging.

Erzengel (9745) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2014
Rating from 2005. Herb-frisches Pils, aber vom Körper her etwas laff. Nett. --> 8

3.8
Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 1, 2011
bottle from Landbierdealer. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose. Light-bodied, elegant malty base with lots of romatic hops - like digging into a heap of fresh hops. Not too bitter, yet very aromatic, with a slightly resiny touch. A very well crafted exaple of the style.
