0,33 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Oldb. Pouring out not really black more a dark dark red brown. One finger beige head. Low coffee on the nose. Taste is really dark malty, some dark choco, dark caramell. Low carbonated. Surprisingly way better than expected.

300ml, bier vom Fass at the lovely Biergarten at Schwerter Schankhaus. A covering beige head to a deep, dark brown coloured body. Spotty lacing. Roasted dark malty smell. Roasted flavour profile, hints of dark dough and liquorice. Rounded dark malty ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant enough (Meissen 04.07.2016).

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: Kaffee, Karamell. Erscheinung: schwarz-rotes Bier, cremefarbener, feinporiger Schaum. Geschmack: Kaffee, relativ bitter, leicht süß. Nachgeschmack: Bitterkeit hält sich, etwas wässrig. Gesamt: Gutes, wenn auch nicht herausragendes Schwarzbier.

laiti (8507) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 24, 2013
50 cl bottle @ Timo A. Rated on 16.11.2010
Dark brown appearance, small‐bubbled and disappearing head. Aroma is quite dunkel‐like with sweet malt, chocolate and cocoa. Flavour has vegetables typical to Danish ales, malt and hints of solvent. Decent

2.9
Mariusz (12088) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2012
Black colour, nice brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate. Flavor is almost the same. Nice medium coffee and dark chocolate finish.
