Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a fine, foamy white head. Bready nose, lots of toasty malts. Medium sweet flavor, big bread, light caramel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, light toasty cereal, more bread. It’s sweet and basic - it’s a marzen. Fine. Mariusz (12066) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - SEP 20, 2012

Clear light to medium amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, light nutty, butter notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
In bottle at home. Pours a ruby -chestnut colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of strawberry jam, caramel, barley and biscuity malt. Interesting fruity flavour also, definite strawberry jam with some grassy hops, caramel and alcohol also. This is pretty different. Alcohol is fairly present. Mild carbonation and light CO2 prickle. Not bad.
