Bottle, pours brown with a Fast-settling head and a fruity caramel nose. Crisp, malty and bittersweet, if I didn’t know what this was it could easily be a sweetish Southern English brown bitter. ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2015

This is a no nonsense Vollbier which is very drinkable. Though simple in its flavour spectrum, it does what it presents very well. A distinct flavour and drinkability, what more can one want?
