My Bottom Line:
Delicate nutty caramel and herbal hop bitterness get along nicely in this dry and süffig lager.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam covers the misty auburn.
-The flavor profile is balanced.
-This is clearly in the same flavor family as their neighbor Penning-Zeisler’s Vollbier.
-Drinkability is through the roof.

On tap at the brewpub.

Bottle. Brite, amber. Delicate carbonation. Persistent one-finger head that laces nicely. Very enticing. Don’t drink too quickly as aroma really opens up as approaches room temperature, revealing sweet fruits and later a little roastiness. Mineral sensation in the mouth. Pleasant soft bitter linger. Could drink till the cows came home.

Pours out of the bottle in a deep dark brown colour with airy low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and grains. Taste of malt, bread, nuts, leaves, caramel and roses. Earthy finish. Easy drinkable and refreshing.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2014 Copper coloured almost red. Very malty. Nice balance. Light carbonation. Very like a malty English bitter. Nice stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Tiefes Kupferrot, klar.
