This is a no nonsense Vollbier which is very drinkable. Though simple in its flavour spectrum, it does what it presents very well. A distinct flavour and drinkability, what more can one want? jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 7, 2015

My Bottom Line:CraftyBeerTour (155) - Barcelon, SPAIN - AUG 18, 2014
Delicate nutty caramel and herbal hop bitterness get along nicely in this dry and süffig lager.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam covers the misty auburn.
-The flavor profile is balanced.
-This is clearly in the same flavor family as their neighbor Penning-Zeisler’s Vollbier.
-Drinkability is through the roof.
On tap at the brewpub.
Bottle. Brite, amber. Delicate carbonation. Persistent one-finger head that laces nicely. Very enticing. Don’t drink too quickly as aroma really opens up as approaches room temperature, revealing sweet fruits and later a little roastiness. Mineral sensation in the mouth. Pleasant soft bitter linger. Could drink till the cows came home.
