Sampled at Thomas W, thanks. Light brown short head. Clowdy dark orange color. Fine malt with a tuch of munic malts. Well fermented and perfectly balanced bitterness.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly lasting. Body is light brown. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread/nuts), lightly hoppy (herbs), with hints of black tea and earth. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation. Solid stuff...it plays it safe for the most part, but it’s quite clean and enjoyable.

Aroma: Malt, cereal and metallic.

Appearance: Clear dark amber body with a thin beige head that slowly dissipates. Light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Like the aroma - roasted malt and metallic. No reaSweet initial flavour then a slight bitterness.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: Not really my sort of beer - malty with muted flavours and low bitterness. A bit boring.

500mL thanks to Ruben. Pours a clear amber, honey highlights. Denser yellowish head. Rocky with great retention. Nose is a bit diacetyl, toffee malt. Taste is heavier diacetyl with some sharp grassy hops, honey malt, sweeter fruit juice. Not bad. Clean and refresh. Decent hop balance. Not too bad on the diacetyl. Light nuttiness. Not bad. Small butteriness with fruit juice and mealy apple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Chris’ house in Fürth. A bit hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Rich nutty, straw grainy, toasty malty aroma. Rich, toasty, rich nutty, very malty flavor.
