Sweet and tangy with a dry finsh. No hops or malt detected. Almost like a cider. Sparkling carbonation and an attractive, clear color. Excellent overall. Too bad so many rating this don’t like fruit beers. It really is excellent for WHAT IT IS - a fruit beer. This really should be rated higher.

Bottle. Amber Gold. Very apricot fruity, slightly tart, refreshing, effervescent beer. OK, but preferred the Strawberry and the Cherry. (2008)

There is almost no foam by pouring this beer. On the other hand, there are plenty of pleasant fragrance. Apricot and flower welling up from the glass and get my expectations to rise significantly. The taste is of course dominated by apricot and the carbon dioxide is lightly sparkling. It is slightly sour and leave a good fresh taste. Suitable as a welcome drink, aperitif or as a cool summer drink.

Light amber. Taste apricots followed by slight bitter note. Light bodied and juicy.

Aroma is tart fruit/apricot and a sharp and undesirable element. The flavor is apricot, an undercurrent of fruit and a long and sour finish.

Golden color with small white head. Weird fruity aroma. Sweet apricot taste. Very funny beer to taste, but not my a beer for my taste.

powerfully fruity and would be much better enjoyed during the hot summer!

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 15, 2012
bottled, thanks duff. yellowish with a faint head; dried apricot aroma; fizzy an ciderish with enough tartness to balance the apricot nectar character

355ml bottle poured a slightly hazy pale amber color with a fizzy white head that settled quickly and left no lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong on apricots. Taste is both sweet and sour fruitiness and not much else going on. Light bodied and highly carbonated.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. Lots of carbonation bubbles clinging to the side of the glass. Aroma of peaches, alcohol and sweet fruity malt. Taste is light sweet and medium sour. Tastes just like it smells. Apricots, peaches and fruity pebbles. Light bodied with a thin texture. Very lively carbonation and a long sour finish. Overall, not bad for what it is. I would drink this again if I wanted juice instead of beer.

1.7
Koelschtrinker (20399) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 13, 2011
