COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Mix between beer and chauchan, an honey liquor from France. Honey yellow colour with thin lace. Aroma is honey and liquor Taste is sweet. Honey ups to everything, with soft alcoholic notes. Interesting beer, better for aperitif and snaks than for refreshing.

jaghana (5610) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - APR 17, 2013
Bottles 33cl, a clear yellow beer with no head and low carbonation. Nose is on corn sugar and smoked notes. Aroma is on smoked malt, sweet, nutty, light honey notes. Strange to have associated smoked malt with chouchen. Not bad bit too sweet and low body, less complex.

Quack-Duck (9209) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2013
bottle from either Village de la Bière or saveur-biere. Deep golden colour, small white head. Beery background with a sweetness of honey that is not overpowering. Nicer than expected, but not as good as some of the delicious Polish honey beers.

Test vom 15.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,5,4,4,5,5 - 4,90
