COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hubert? I’ve heard of him. A friend of a friend knows him. Apparently he’s awesome, but we’ve never met. Well. It’s about time you did. Most you connoisseurs would just call him an IPA, but we call him an MPA. The Melvin Pale Ale. A welcomed hand shake to your taste buds. Light, crisp, fresh and a little bitty bitter. Lets just say he won’t be that jerk that leaves you at the bar at 2am. He’s low in alcohol. What a nice guy... that Hubert.

hauxe (757) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 16, 2017
Pours gold from the can with a frothy white head. Aroma is a boquet of tropical fruit somewhat past its prime and moving on to the fermenting stage. Dank, with hints of caramel. Taste is bitter, intensely bitter, with a light warmth at the end. Feels like a beer drowned with hops, which it has been I guess. It may in the top 50 APA list, but it’s too unbalanced for my taste.

From a can. Pours a straw gold and makes a medium white head. Aroma is of the fresh, robust malts of Wyoming. Caramel, hops creates a wonderful bouquet. Tastes like a true American pale ale, with a hoppy taste but not overwhelming. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
