Sampled at BLX Beer Fest. Clear golden pour with a white head. Notes of oranges, citrus, caramel. A bit too sweet but other than that a well-made west-coast IPA.

Can picked up at the Boise Co-Op. Pours a bold golden orange color and topped with a mountain of creamy beige head. Tons of sticky lacing throughout the entire glass. I didn’t find the nose to be all that intense, but a sweet citrus and light pine hop note. The taste is actually on the mild side (for Melvin), but ever so smooth. Probably one of the smoothest and easiest drinking IPA’s I’ve had in a long time. Very minimal bitterness and overall pretty sweet, but it doesn’t feel overly sweet. Citrus and light grapefruit with a little pine and caramel malt. This is a super beer to have around in cans.
