Incredibly delicious IPA with a bright hop profile and amazing balance. Nice amber hue with a foamy, lasting head. Smooth, easy-drinking texture with a mild-to-moderate carbonation level. Rich, biscuity and gently toasted malt flavors complemented by the perfect amount of caramel-like sweetness. Flavorful and aromatic hops are highlighted with notes of citrus, pine, grass and flowers. Just the right amount of bitterness surfaces in the finish and lingers nicely into the aftertaste, leaving behind hints of grapefruit and orange peel. Fantastic. Cans. Can’t pull a whole lot off of the aroma. Mild citrus fruitiness. Flavor is possibly the best IPA that I’ve ever had. Rich and deep passion fruit, mango, tropical fruits. Just the right blend of malts to give this a candy sweetness. Phenomenal. PintjeFritz (394) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - NOV 12, 2016
Thanks to Boisebeerguy!!!!
Nice and typical Melvin can, cloudy amber beer with a strong cream-colored head, smell is fruity, tropical fruits, bitter, full body, fizzy carbonation, creamy, finish bitter, Braudog (6803) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Draft (and on nitro as "Nelvin") at the brewpub. Orange amber. Still. Thin top on draft, creamy on nitro. Outstanding aroma, screaming Pacific Northwest right here in the Tetons. Drinks with the same character. Citrusy, acidic, drinkable, delicious. (#4641, 7/2/2012)

Pint pour at the Keg & Cork in Casper.
Medium gold colour under a small head of foam. Nice lacing.
Hoppy nose consisting of grapefruit, pine, yet has a sweetish component to it is on the fruity side.
Hoppy and somewhat bitter to start. The bitterness continues with ample heaps of pine, some grapefruit than gets fruity with a pineapple like sweetness. Level of dankness. .high.
Another great mouthfeel from a Melvin hop forward beer.
This is one delicious IPA. I hope to find it again in town. Beaver (1828) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 7, 2016
12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass some.ajtrupp (340) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - JUL 16, 2016
The aroma is sweet bready malt, soft fruit and lots of piney resiny hops.
The flavor is sweet fruity caramel malt with lots of resiny dank piney hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a very nice IPA.
I’m drinking this one out on a patio on a beautiful Crested Butte weekend, so it may be skewed. But this is a damn fine IPA. Nearing a double. Big like a Deviant Dale’s. vincentvega72 (844) - Terneuzen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2017
Perfect in balans. Een schoolvoorbeeld van een ipa. zoucrew102 (2048) - - MAY 1, 2016
Can. Grapefruit citrus hop aroma with notes of tropical fruit and pine. Pours golden colored with one finger of white head with excellent retention and some lacing. Starts grapefruit citrus flavor and acidity with a bit of tropical fruit as well. Finishes dry with pine resiny bitterness joining the party but not destroying the palate. An excellent IPA.
