Golden body with a nice, off-white frothy cover. Spicy honey malt aroma and flavor with a medium viscosity Easy pale malt backbone. A solid honey brew. kyzr (1526) - Montana, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Clear gold pour with small bright white head. Nose of light grass with wheat and a touch of honey. Flavor is crisp and clean with malt and a bit of corn. Very clean finish. UncleKorm (1311) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 17, 2017

12 oz. can from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Golden and clear. A white head that is fluffy and foamy. Nice lacing. Aroma is very light. Flavor is grassy, spicy, and it might have some European hops with some sulfur. Floral and finally a hint of honey. It is generally sweet with pale malts. hayduke (5187) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 16, 2017
This can was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. It poured a clear gold with and off-white creamy head. Nose of citrus and floral hops. Medium body and a smooth clean mouthfeel. Flavor shows the honey, but it is subtle and the sweeness leads interestingly enough to a lightly bitter finish. This would a great summer beer to take out on the riding mower. Nice.

Type: 12-oz. can
Glass: Lagunitas mason jar
From: Bier:Thirty Bottle & Bistro in Boise, Idaho
Purchased: April 21, 2017
Consumed: April 26, 2017
Reviewed as: American Blonde Ale
Misc.: No canned on date
Picked this up with four others at Bier:Thirty on a recent work trip to Boise after getting a random 6-pack of cans earlier at Whole Foods. Had never had a bad Melvin beer and expected that trend to continue here.
Poured a gold clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Lots of bubbles streaming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding lacing. Excellent foamy retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled honey, grainy cereal, corn, floral and hints of grassy malts. No idea what hops were in this, although obviously very light. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste definitely drops off from the smell, but definitely a blonde. Got wet grain cereal, but probably more corn cereal, honey, grass, sharp lemon zest and hints of citrus peel. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, clean finish. (Feel - 3.75)
A pretty good blonde overall. Not quite Firestone 805 good, but still good. (Overall - 3.75)
