Can. Easy light and pleasant if not terribly exciting. Light grainy wheat, lemon and a kiss of honey to liven things up. Ever so lightly floral.

Easy drinking

Draught at St. Augustines, Vancouver
Hazy blond to golden color with small compact head. No discernible aroma, just a whiff of beer. Dry mouthfeel, but soft, and not weak; timid straw-like malts, as often happens the honey doesnt give much (unless you use a lot of it and of good quality); correctly bitter, no hop quality though.
Clean, but very boring.

12 oz can. Clear, slightly hazy, golden pour. White head sticks around a bit. A bit grainy, sweet, and very light and crushable. Light, crisp and clean. Very nice.

Grunt fill from Growler Guys-Meridian. Bright golden, clear body, small foamy head, leaves ring around glass.. Nice grainy aroma, cereal, but welcoming. Taste fades a bit , still the focus on the cereal grains, but it is tasty. Aroma is a just a bit bigger than the taste. Nice feel, finishes clean. For a lighter, tasty beer, this is the one.

Draft at SB. Pours a very slightly hazy burnished medium gold with a light sudsy white head. Toasty nose, bits of cheerio and a hint of herbal hop counterpoint. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty cereal mid palate with mild herbal hop. Long nutty finish. Nicest blonde Ive had in a while.

On tap at McKays Taphouse, pours a clear straw yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out subdued, fermented out honey, along with straw and cereal malt. Flavour is lightly sweet, with residual honey sweetness and cereal malt. Pleasant and well-structured. For a blonde, this is definitely above average.

Pint at Star Bar. whoa a beer from Melvin that isnt a hop bomb. Pretty clear blonde ale with a firm white head. Aroma is malty with earthy, spicy hops certainly noticed, but not in the forefront. The body is crisp and light. Not a ton of pilsner malt character in the flavor, more of toned-down maltiness adding just the right amount of sweetness. The honey is very modest, just adding the ideal character to the flavor. Good, dry finish with a light hop bitterness.

Can. aroma sweet and malty. Taste is sweet maltiness with subtle hop notes and a sweet finish. Solid easy drinker for a change of pace from the IPAs. Would buy again.

12 oz. can. Pours a thick, well retained, tiny bubbled off white head, with moderate lacing, over a clear, effervescent, gold (SRM 5) body.......nose is quite light hints of honey, mild cereal, light hops, balanced......taste is light malts with cereal tones, light malt sweetness, mild hints of honey, finishing medium dry with light hop bitterness, balanced.....mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. This is a light easy drinking, refreshing and clean beer. The honey was handled with a light hand, and consequently adds a bit of complexity without being dominant. It meets the style nicely.
