Sampled at Meridian Pint, pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose is reasonably muted for a DIPA, lemon, soap, some pine, a little straw and grass. If there was Mosaic in it, I didn’t find it. Flavor has some pale grist, lemon, grapefruit, pine, straw, grass. Finishes bitter and dry. Expected more.

kyzr (1589) - Montana, USA - JUN 5, 2017
On tap at Stanley Beer Hall. Dark gold pour with nice sized head and good lace. Big tropical fruit nose with touch of pine. Flavor is juicy hops with a nice balance of malt that finishes it off.

ajnepple (6824) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2017
On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear and pale golden appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of citrus peel, resinous hops, tropical fruit, mild spruce and lightly toasted malts. Similar flavor, fresh, hoppy, zesty and piney with a moderate bitterness balanced by a mild grainy sweetness. Medium body with a lingering finish. Slight complexities of herbs/flowers/spices develop as it warms. Good stuff overall.

onceblind (10091) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 26, 2017
Bright golden hue with a foamy thick white head. Lovely floral resinous nose that’s got a kiss of dandelion herbal essences and fresh picked grassy hops. Brisk bright sunshiney body that carries a vibrant floral fresh hop flavor and a gentle citric aftertouch. Super tasty and complex hop profile that’s not too bitter or piney.

Oakes (18167) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2017
Draught @ Elizabeth Station. Amber with just a touch of haze. Deep, slightly green, piney hop nose. Bitter, with a biscuit malt character. Good, well-balanced DIPA.

IndianaRed (4862) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 16, 2017
On Tap at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham. Cleer deep golden with a thin wispy off white head. Light toasted malts, lots of piney woody hop flavors and aromas. Fair bitterness, a little woody bite. Lingering bitterness, lean palate.

luttonm (6550) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Toronado, Seattle. Soft foamy cap, clean rich gold. Soft dank nose, a little understated. Rich resins and Dank pine notes. Clean body at first but richer alcohol depth rises soon enough. In between carbonation, a little too much I guess. Lovely flowery resin. Tastes like hop powder is just sprinkled all over. Doesn’t taste like fresh hops exactly, much stickier and danker. Interesting, not quite as interesting as others from Melvin. Grew on me by the end, this is definitely a sipper pint that improves the more you get in to it.

BuckeyeBoy (8173) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 6, 2016
On tap at Beer junction seattle. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a nice fluffy white head. Nose is tropical fruit hops a some light bitterness and a nice caramel sweet malt. Taste is more of the nice tropical fruit hops a great malt sweetness balance.

Draft at chucks cd. Clear, golden, lasting white head and sticky lacing. Bitter, catty, pine, slight oniony pineapple. Slightly sweet, over ripe pineapple, resious pine, some garlic...akin to a hop flavored kool aid, if one existed. Finish lingers between sweet/sticky/bitter.
