Clear light to medium amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, fruity, vintage malt, tobaco, caramel notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and some vintage malt notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. 
66 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dry malt towards breadish with a mild metallic note. Light metallic flavour, medium sweet and with a distinct bread note following. Has a mild mouldy to herbal note to it. Ends dry malty with a light bitterness in the far finish. UPDATED: JUN 13, 2003 A beutiful amber color but without much head. It has no aroma but a flavor of hops and a good malt blend.

Malty flavour of hay and caramel with notes of hops.

Bottled. Copperish colour with mediumsized head. Aroma of dark bread, maize and malts. Flavour is sweet malty and maizeish. Palate is ok, not as watery as many other Italians sampled at this occasion. Fancy bottle here again, and actually the content was not too bad.

Bottle from a Enoteca on the Genoa seafront promenade. Clear dark amber beer, good sized cream coloured head. Crispy palate. Clean even malt, trace of citrus. Bland but clean and drinkable.

Bottle at the Freedom Traveller Hostel in Rome. Clear, honey-amber pour with a soft, white head. Caramel, sweet malts on the nose. Medium sweet flavor, nice, toasty malts, more caramel, a little bit of earth. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Toasty, light sweet finish, with some minor bitterness of earth. Good beer.
