Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a pale yellow clear body with a small white head. Nose is strong sweet malt syrupy maize tones with hints of nuts and straw. Taste is sweet corn, pale malts, syrup and hints of floral honey tones. Light body, medium carbonation. Too sweet, but otherwise there’s nothing wrong with this one (at least not for being what it is). downender (8767) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2014
Bottle. Golden with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Solid, all-round pils, tending to the malty, with a moderately bitter finish. Ok. Kita (2197) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 4, 2014
Bottle, 0.66l. Clear pale golden color with average frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, grass, vegetables with some dusty notes. Taste starts with light sweet maltiness, follows by cooked vegetables and grassy sourness, while finish is light bitter. Light body, dry texture and lively carbonation in palate. Bland thirst killer... JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - MAR 29, 2014
Good, just yellowish dense head over golden beer. Bit milky, grainy nose, green leaves. Bitterish, but with a very malty sweetness omnipresent. Spritzy to fizzy carbonation; hints at CO² acidity; light body, bit of gristslickness. Hmmpfff. IMO, there’s something missing in a beer that needs the carbonation in order to achieve some balance. Txs for bringing over, Hans B! guorlan (6) - - MAR 5, 2014 does not count
Not really my thing, I found it way too fizzy and lacking texture and taste: I can recommend it as a fizzy drink on a hot summer afternoon with a packet of crisps, but drinking it in restaurants to accompany a pizza is not really satisfying at least in my opinion.

66cl (22oz) bottle poured into an Imperial Pint glass. Note to self: Get Birra Antoniana on this site to review.
Appearance: Screaming at me, and screaming loud -- ADJUNCT LAGER! The beer is a clear as day yellow color with a super bright two-finger head on top that goes away after a few minutes. Thin layer of bright foam on top, and decent lacing. Looks good for what it is.
Smell: There’s basically nothing there. A very faint hay and corn sweetness sort of aroma, but it’s extremely subtle. Nothing particularly bad about it, but I’ve never smelled a beer so uninteresting.
Taste/feel: Like the smell, faint as all hell... definitely drinking like a light lager. Some slight hay and corny flavors. Incredibly mild, and essentially just what I expected from this brew. The feel is thin with high carbonation as well. Really not nearly as sweet as some adjunct lagers here in the United States, which is probably due to the common American’s obsession with sweetness.
I appreciate the fact that Italy lists ingredients on their beers -- the third ingredient in this beer is corn grits. Overall, it tastes like an Italian Budweiser. Nothing special here. I really got nothing out of this except a little bit of a buzz. rok1024 (1272) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - NOV 30, 2013
Clear yellow golden appearance with medium head. Malty aroma, refreshing. Slightly overrated Pale lager style beer. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Good beer with golden color and beautiful head. Body is not s carbonated as several years ago, so it’s refreshing and easy drinkable. Aroma of grass. Taste is common for rice pale lager but with pleasant bitterness. sinte (582) - Udine, ITALY - SEP 20, 2013
Clear yellow body with a medium, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing.
Light malty and hoppy (herbal) aroma.
Moderate bitter flavour with very light malty sweetness.
Light body with watery texture; soft carbonation. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2013
A completely nondescript and inoffensive lager. Tastes reasonably well when properly chilled.
