Bottle from Bere Buona Birra, Milan
The bottle is a slow gusher; hazy light amber color with creamy head. Mild spicy yeast aroma, estery; Belgian. Highly carbonated; delicate spicy malt flavor, with very light residual sweetness and smoke (the chestnuts); relatively strong bitterness; the final presents a delicate fruity touch with the alcohol warmth.
Nice.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2014 33 cl bottle in Teku. Pours a really nice large and long-lasting white frothy head, deep orange yellowish hazy colour. Very malty and grainy nose, smells banana, clove, nuts and very tripel like. Taste is malty, chestnut, yeasty and fruity. Perfect bitter/sweet balance, you can’t almost taste neither of the two. Medium bodied, nice carbonation, incredibly well balanced. A really great one

25.12.12. Bottle 33 cl bought @ Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome, Italy). Pours with a frothy white united head, awesome lacing. Color dark yellow totally pale like a cream pudding. Aroma is that of a tripel considering yeast and citrus peel, but, moreover, has a thin chestnut note that improves the fact. At palate spread a not-so-highly carbonated body like all the Menaresta products, it pervades anyway with a complexity full of fruits; the autumn chestnut character binds with all. There’s something bitter like grapefruit or cider that fights somehow, but finish lasts and clean palate when eating. Another good one by Menaresta, best italian brewery since last two years IMO.
