Pane liquido

Handpump at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Black pour, ivory foam. Nose: roast coffee, soft notes of grass. Mouth: watery, soft roast, easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Roasted malts, crust of bread, practically black with a thin tan head, light body, watery, again roasted and bread, carbonation is soft...very drinkable and pleasant stout.

Pour black, light foam, smells like rye bread, taste of bread, sour-bitter cocoa, dry/bitter aftertaste. Ok beer, good taste for only 3.8 abv

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontenais. Black, big bubbly mocha head. Nose is umami, lactose (like I know what lactose taste like), grainy, light vanilla, ice cream, roast, herbal, an odd mismatch of flavours a bit but not unpleasant. Taste is herbal bitter, roasted, sugar, candy, quite umami, chocolate mousse, weird, a bit thin touch watery , milk powdery, grainy,… Okay but an odd mix without much balance.

Clear black, brown froth. Fresh aroma, roasted malts, barn, buckweed, yeast. Roasted malts, hint of ashy, bread crust. Lovely.

Bottle at Groove Beer e Grill, Matera. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, licorice, soy, chocolate and light coffee. Flavor is light moderate sweet and bitter. Thin in the mouthfeel but to be expected given the low ABV. Light bodied with light carbonation. A very enjoyable low ABV stout.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2014 Deep black colour, 2 cm light beige head, creamy and very thick as a real stout should be. Smells roasted malts, huge buckwheat, bit of coffee and licorice, smokey, which all combined give the beer an awesome "dark wholewheat bread" aroma, deep bready yeasty aroma. Tastes initially bready, little watery and very delicate then turns to the more pronounced coffe, toasted and licorice notes, followed by a light bitter long finish. It seems that I’ve just eaten a piece of toasted dark bread, as the name "Pan nègar" litterally says (in the Italian "Brianza" dialect, region where Menaresta brewery is) . Light body and carbonation, no sweet notes at all. Nice English Stout , but with a very nice original (Italian :D) touch

Roasted/toasted aroma, very coffee-like flavor with a slightly sour finish. Good italian stout, low alcohol and easy to drink maybe a bit too watery.

330 ml bottle from beer-shop.it, served into a pint glass. Pitch black with some red tinges to it, fluffy and huge light beige head. Great lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, coffee powder, smoked meat. Surprisingly over carbonated for a dry stout, and I wasn’t expecting that level of bitterness as well. Almost watery body, great drinkability and just the right amount of flavour for such a low ABV beer. Nice one.

Deutlich malziger Antrunk, erfrischend doch die hopfige Bitterkeit. Rund, würzig, passende konstante Röstigkeit. Gut. 11/8/11/9//9
