Bottle. Malt forward aroma of fresh baked bread, light yeastiness. Flavor has lightly toasted grain, overriding caramel sweet notes. Finish has just a bit of herbal hoppiness. Pretty good American Oktoberfest. Liquid bread with just a bit of hops for balance. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 9, 2010
Pours a deep bright golden orange.
Nose of brown sugar and bread.
Taste is bland, watery, slight corn flavor, decent graininess, cereal grain, light biotterness. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle:   Fiery amber, quite clear, moderate foamy off-white head, decent lacing, light carbonation.   Soft malty nose, seems slightly sweet, a little bit of honeycomb cereal.   Somewhat mealy on the tongue, certainly
malty, moderately sweet, clean, with a finish that lingers with sweet malts and a bit of creamed honey.   A pleasant sweet lager.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, even smooth and a bit creamy.   Only thing I would say that
detracts is its resemblance to a cereal.   Tone down the sweetness a bit and I think then we’ve got something.   Thanks toJah Noth for the bottle! zappafan99 (463) - ASCENSION ISLAND - DEC 25, 2009
Taste 12/9 bottle. Looks: Cloudy red body with a thin top. Aroma: Grainy and yeast. Taste: A good marzen that doesn’t have the stickiness some of this style have. A flavorful beer that beats out most other marzens I’ve had for balance and finish.

12oz bottle from BevMo La Jolla. Pours a mostly clear orange amber with a fluffy off white head, some spotty lacing. Nose is pretty much your standard marzen, a little roasted malt, and light hop presence......this one had a very light touch of yeast. Flavor was roasty with a slightly metallic finish. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 4, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours a clear, copper colored body with a finger-width, off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is some moderately sweet caramel malts and fruity, spicy hops. A light toasted bread and yeast too. Not bad at all. Flavor is quite impressive. A moderately sweet malt up front before a good amount of spiced fruits come in. Slightly bready malts and yeast as well as a good amount of toasty caramels. Finishes with a little more bitterness than most Oktoberfests, but blends nicely with some toasted malts and sweeter caramels. Lingers for a good amount of time after a medium to full, smooth body and mostly dry finish. Overall, a hoppy, yet malty and toasty Oktoberfest. Rich and smooth with lots of flavor. This was surprisingly good! Block (3222) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - NOV 29, 2009
Orange-amber pour with an off white head. Aroma of light pale malts an some citrus. Flavor is light with pale malts, orange and some hops at the finish. Rosebud butternuts (2398) - Denton, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2009
