12oz bottle poured into glass. Yellowish head atop a dark amber brew. Smell of cereal malts and aged fruits. No particular taste really stands out and tickles the taste-buds in delight. Sort of a bland Oktoberfest beer. Thin on the palate and a little oily. Overall I have to say not the best entry into Oktoberfest but taste is an individual preference so worth a shot. moose85uofa (26) - Alabama, USA - OCT 28, 2009
The label reads Mendocino Autumn Seasonal Oktoberfest....it’s very smooth, has a delicious initial taste, and follows with a delicious rich, malty flavor. I recommend trying if traveling near the northeast. Great for a Fall brew. Hades665 (18) - Springfield, Missouri, USA - FEB 8, 2010
Dee[ amber color with an off white head. Minimal lace. Aroma is of sweet malts. The flavor leans towards malt as it should in this style. Slightly more hoppy than I would expect from an Octoberfest but overall a pleasent beer. reggiekoko (10) - saint augustine, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2007
Poured a bright copper hue. Head disappeared quickly with little lacing. Had an apple-citrus flavor with a slight maltiness. Mouthfeel was pleasant. An interesting brew but not my favorite Octoberfest.
