From a Bottle at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 11/10/2007
Hoppy pale aroma. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish. drowland (8829) - Georgia, USA - MAY 12, 2010
5/10/10. 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The pour is cloudy red with a small white head. The aroma is huge caramel and grain with distinct oxidized homebrew. The flavor is red roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, etc... really too much for an Oktoberfest. Ibrew2or3 (8660) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2007
On tap at Barclay’s in Berkeley, CA. Pours a dull amber with gold edges and lasting tan head. Nice strength aroma of dark fruitiness, roasted malts, mild caramel and faint spices. The taste is similar to the aroma with prunes, dates and plums mixed with roasted malts and sweet caramelized malts. Nice rich malty offering of the style. The sweetness does build up a bit but not bad at all for the style. radagast83 (8137) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2007
Sampled from bottle. Flavor was that of citrus and tart fruit. Flavor was decent enough, and a surprise result from most of the Oktoberfest beers I’ve been having lately. PorterPounder (8081) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 17, 2008
Tallahassee, Fl. - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Dark orange pour with a thin white head that dissipates quickly - very autumn looking. Sweet aroma, with some sweet molasses and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet as well with some brief hints caramel, pumpkin, and molasses. Smooth, clean mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Bottle Pours out a clear amber topped with a white head. Aroam of malts and light spice. Tast more of the spice and malts. Not a bad Octoberfest brew. FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2008
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark ruby-caramel color with a small khaki head that faded quickly. The aroma was tangy, sweet and malty with a hint of nut. The flavor was sour, tangy, malty, fruity and a bit vegetal. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 16, 2007
Bottled. Poured clear light-medium orange with a short dusting of off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet, lightly-toasted caramel, candy, and light fruits with a soft and welcoming appeal. The flavor was very sweet, with toasted caramel and lighter fruits at the base.. aged leafy floral and herbal bitterness extend toward the finish.. but still too sweet throughout.. caramel and light herbal notes at the finish. Light-plus bodied and sweet on the palate with decent bitter complements. Sweet and relatively simple, yet a smooth, tasty, easy-drinking brew. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JAN 2, 2010
Bottle:   Fiery amber, quite clear, moderate foamy off-white head, decent lacing, light carbonation.   Soft malty nose, seems slightly sweet, a little bit of honeycomb cereal.   Somewhat mealy on the tongue, certainly
malty, moderately sweet, clean, with a finish that lingers with sweet malts and a bit of creamed honey.   A pleasant sweet lager.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, even smooth and a bit creamy.   Only thing I would say that
detracts is its resemblance to a cereal.   Tone down the sweetness a bit and I think then we’ve got something.   Thanks toJah Noth for the bottle! ben4321 (6547) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2009
12 oz Bottle from Norm’s, Sept ’08
I enjoyed this one, had a great nose, some malty caramel flavors, and a solid taste that makes you feel like autumn.
