355 ml bottle. Slightly unclear deep golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Nice aroma of citric fruit and caramel malt. Flavor is sweet, caramel malt, biscuit, citric fruit and decent bitterness. Medium body and bitter aftertaste. A well-made, straight forward old school American IPA with malt balance. Nothing special but nothing wrong either. A decent thirst quencher.

Poured a caramel orange semi-clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of khaki white head. Tons of layered foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention on the top all the way down.
First smells reminded me of a stronger pilsner. Overall got corn, lemon wheat grass, spruce hops, lemon rind and some pine. By the end was thinking of a stronger regular Blue Moon. Also light floral notes.
The taste was similar to the nose. Got lots of wheat, grass and corn, but also honey, sharp grapefruit rind and lots of bitterness. Not too solid.
Light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish.
Just an average IPA. Nothing exceptional at all.

Pours a nice looking amber color with small white head. Aroma of mild citrus some sweetness in aroma. Taste is pretty sub par compared to a lot of other IPA s I’ve had. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 31, 2013
355mL thanks to Dedicatedtofun! Clear orange, nice white webby lacing. Nose is sweet artificial orange, flashes of odd chemical. Taste is harsh stomach acid, eating a penny. Oh gross. It takes skill to make beer taste this badly.

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and orange. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Botte, 12oz. It pours a lighlty hazy body, dark golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick light beige head leaving lacings. It’s citrusy and lightly hayish on the nose, with some resiny hints. Rather malty. That goes for the flavor too, where there’s also a nice bitterness. Full body, pleasant carbonation and quite dry. Lasting bitter finish. Sort of boring this one, but quite nice anyway. 131231 harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Poured to duvel goblet
A: eggy single finger whipped head sticks around. Golden ale with excellent clarity. Consistent runs replenish the head. Nice lacing sticks to the edges.
S: sweet nougat, resiny, piney. Not really what you expect from a CA IPA, a bit weak.
T: sweet and bitter. Well balanced with piney hops.
M: lovely and bubbly. Bit of a burn. Light.
D: decent beer. Pretty average.
