Lightly hazed light orange body with medium creamy beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, light citric, . Taste is more pronounced citric (gfruit), medium sweet, but also some biscuit. Finish is floral/grapefruit, mildly bitter. Medium body. Pleasant IPA -- not a hop monster, sort of a cross between an American and English IPA.

A foul west coast IPA. Thin in body no sign of any type of west coast hops. Just awful. BeerandBlues2 (13814) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 22, 2009
Bottle. Pours sparkling dark yellow with an average, frothy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (cereal, grain, meal), heavy hops (flowers, grass, pine, spruce), average yeast (sweat) with notes of grape and apple. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness. Dogbrick (13767) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 31, 2005
One good thing about Mendocino is their bombers are significantly cheaper than other brands. One not-so-good thing I can say is you can tell why. This brew pours a light golden orange color with a medium thick eggshell white head that lasted pretty well. Thin lacing. The aroma is musty and mildly hopped, with a faint hint of citrus. Possibly the thinnest body on an IPA in recent memory, with a very one-dimensional flavor. Straight hops without a whole lot of taste, and a bit of grapefruit is about it. The finish is somewhat bitter but again not too flavorful. I was frankly bored with this about halfway through which is pretty rare for me when it comes to IPAs. Worth trying, but I won’t revisit this. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 19, 2010
