Has the aroma of ginger ale, slightly bitter flavour with the gingery finish.

Tap at the ale house, pours a hazy brownish. colour, the taste is very very gingery, almost too much but yet it is very drinkable, it tastes a lot like ginger ale the pop. very good offering

it delivers what it promises...ginger. the ginger kind of makes it refreshing though. nothing offensive.

Aroma was very strong in the ginger department, very little if anything from anything else. Looked slightly hazy. Reddish brown in colour. Small white head. Tasteed similar to the nose. Very big ginger flavour, but not much else to back it up. It was real, fresh ginger I’m sure, and if you’re a big fan of ginger than you might take to this more than I did. Medium bodied. High carbonation. Served too cold. Overall, nice to try, but not something I could drink much of. I will order it again though.

[1537-20080719] Tap. Gingersnap aroma has strong notes of slices of ginger. Slightly hazy, light amber brown body with a small medium-lasting creamy white head. Tangy thin slices of ginger and flower yeast flavour. Medium body. Not repeatable but interesting to try!

radiomgb (2838) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2005
On tap at the Merchant Ale House. Murky orange-brown in colour, very thin white head, no lace. The aroma was of sweaty gym socks, ginger, slightly sweet. The flavour was of ginger mainly but there was some malt and sugary sweetness. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes dry, malty, lingering.

jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 16, 2005
Orangey amber body, no head. Sweet ginger - chinese food like reminders. Vaguely fruity flavour, pleasant moderate ginger is oddly sweet. Reminds me a bit of carrot cake for some reason. Average palate bordering on thin. Interesting beer, but doesn’t really do much for me. Worth trying though.

IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - AUG 15, 2005
Amber color, thin ring of off white head. Lighter aroma, ginger is definitely in there and as radiomgb noted "sweaty gym socks." Flavor is relatively mild, some malt, ginger and it kind of falls flat. Pretty boring beer.

2.5
joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2005
Amber w/ ring of pale tan foam. Mild aroma of ginger w/ light peppery notes. Light, watery feel. Surprisingly bland flavour of candy-ish malt & ginger. A mild spicy, pepper-like burn develops in the finish.
