COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original.

(Keg at Tlustá Koala, 20160613) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and grass. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, caramel, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, malty and bitter. Quite decent schwarz.

Black with nice tan head and ruby highlights. Aroma has a ton of vanilla, sweet notes and a bit of roast. Taste is a bit acrid with roast notes and a bit of sweetness. Not the best example of the style I’ve ever tasted.

Keg at Beer Museum Pub, Prague. A deep brown colour with a thick, foamy beige head. Aroma of roasted barley (like biscuit) some treacle, slight smoke and subtle nuts. Taste of roasted malts, treacle, caramel, some nuts, slight chocolate, a little smoke and late grain. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, roasted, chocolate bitterness in the finish. What a surprising schwarzbier, more like a stout. Roasty, chocolatey, treacley with a decent bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2015 Musím uznať že za tú cenu to mohlo byť omnoho lepšie ale jedno z tých lepších tmavých v supermarketoch ;)

Bottle from the Dram Shop, in Sheffield. Pours mahogany with a cream head. The aroma isn’t great. It smells like dog food to me. The taste is much better. Light spice and roast malt. Chocolate and coffee notes. Quite high carbonation, but a fairly creamy body. The finish is slightly metallic.

DoctorHU (520) - UKRAINE - OCT 23, 2015
Aroma burnt, coffee, malt. The taste is rather dry and at the same time karmelny. In the aftertaste of coffee, burnt crust of bread and a bit of charcoal, a little bitterness.

Schwarze Farbe mit dunklem, sehr festem "Bauschaum". Das Bier riecht nach Rum, Weinbrandt und Rosinen. Der Geschmack ist Kaffe und erwas metallisch. Schokolade im Abgang. Sehr trinkbares, süffiges Schwarzbier ohne die typische unangenehme Süße.
