COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original.

Tap at the Prague Beer Museum at Náměstí Míru Prague. Poured a clear dark brown with a long lasting off white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is sugary burnt caramel treacle and roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a roasted malt hop light liqourice bitter palate and a long butterscotch toffee bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

draft. dark brown. robust porter-like chocolate malt roast in the nose, lightly chalky, lightly waxy. medium sweet, low bitterness, moderately rough malt with a quick finish. tasty but mostly lifeless and mild and doesn’t capture your attention at all.

Many thanks to my Secret Santa! Dark dry nose. Hints of nuts and coffee. The beer starts deep and intense. Coffee, dark chocolate. Roasted malt, very dry with a smooth and not too intense bitterness. The aftertaste is medium, roasted dry, espresso, dark roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate. Great!

(Can) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with black rye bread, caramel, chocolate, coffee and a touch of liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black rye bread, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, dried fruit and a gentle, roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty, but not the most intruiging dark Czech. Quite enjoyable.

Almost pitch black color with a nice creamy tan head. Good lacing. Mild aroma with some dark malt, roasted malt and mild chocolate. Medium body with a moderate sweetness and a mild bitterness. Pleasant mild flavor with roasted malt, some chocolate and mild fruity. Quite pleasant and easy drinkable Schwarzbier. Especially from a can.

33cl bottle from Stockmann, Vantaa. Poured dark brown color with an almost brown head, nice lasting lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with quite strong rye notes also. Highly carbonated. Flavor is roasted and caramel malt with some chocolate also. Finish is quite dry. Decent, but there was some odd notes in the aroma I didn´t like.
