COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original.

(Keg at Tlustá Koala, 20160613) The beer poured nearly black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and grass. Palate was rather full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, caramel, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, malty and bitter. Quite decent schwarz.

Can from Systembolaget. Dark malty smell, bread and some chocolate. Similar taste, sweet with a metallic note to it. Roasted finish. Would have been allot better without the metal, no I’m not drinking from the can.

Bottle from trade with mmahut - many thanks Marek! The beer pours out in a deep black colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and roasted grains. Taste of grains, bread, malt and torf. Thin and rotten finish. Not my kind of beer.

Quite a simple black one with an easy going soul. Some coffee mixed up with a bit of caramel and bit chicken broth. Not that bad but nothing special at all.

AshtonMcCobb (6072) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 5, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours opaque black with a generous head - looks like a stout in fact. Nose of toffee and a hint of cream. The taste has loads of toffee, perhaps rolling into praline or Crunchie Bar. The palate is medium to rich in taste and texture with a long but elegant tangy finish. Overall, good beer, not what i expected in terms of style.
