COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Original.

bottled bought recently at Tesco. I have had this beer several times in my life, bottled and tapped. For me, this is one of the best dark lagers I have ever drunk. Dark chocolate, espresso and rostaed malt dominate this beer. A nice mild minor bitter finish besides the afore mentioned characteristics. Overall very drinkable and an enjoyable beer.

Keg at Beer Museum Pub, Prague. A deep brown colour with a thick, foamy beige head. Aroma of roasted barley (like biscuit) some treacle, slight smoke and subtle nuts. Taste of roasted malts, treacle, caramel, some nuts, slight chocolate, a little smoke and late grain. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, roasted, chocolate bitterness in the finish. What a surprising schwarzbier, more like a stout. Roasty, chocolatey, treacley with a decent bitter finish.
