Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver, 6.9% ABVmcberko (17902) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2012
Pale blond color; no head. Mild aroma of apple juice. The cider itself is not bad, with some apple fruitiness, dry but with light residual sweetness, with a refreshing sourness; unfortunately it also has a weird impression of baby care cream...
Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours a still clear yellow. Aroma of dry apples with a slight hints of tartness, no sugar. Flavour is pure green apples with a nice dry mouthfeel and only a hint of sweetness. Really well-balanced. Great cider. Oakes (17700) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2006
Light greenish-yellow colour. Aroma in redolent of sulphury, stank armpit. With light, sugar-coated apple. Thankfully, the flavour is much cleaner with a sweet apple taste and distinctive nutty note. Once you get past the nose, this is a pleasant, sweetish, simple pub cider. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 25, 2014
On tap @ Alibi Room. Clear pale straw pour. Smells of smoked apple and baked pears. Slight plastic. Some sweet fruit and sugar, a touch of yeast and pie crust. Flavor is kind of tart and phenolic. Smoke and plastic, some apple, and mild sugar. A hint of lemon juice. No thanks. Ferris (15586) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 29, 2017
Bottle - Yellow apple and some honey notes. Clear light gold. Light funk and yellow apple flesh. Touch of funk and not too sweet.

Pale golden colour with fizzy carbonation. Sour apple aroma, with faint barnyard and horseblanket aromas. Crystal clear. Flavour is slightly sweet but still quite tart. Very different and much better than macro ciders that I’ve had. jonas (7590) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JAN 9, 2013
Fresh from tap at Merridale.
Clear yellow green.
Acidic, slightly vinegary nose.
Sparkly and light on the palate.
Straw after a rich flowery, grassy and light wooden note, nice balance of acid to sweetness. Wonderful drink. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Tap. Pale straw with minimal head. Pretty generic cider. Tart and slightly dry. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 22, 2007
Alright cider. Tried it at the Great Canadian Beer Festival and have never had it or even seen it in a bottle. At least it’s dry. The world needs more good ciders. CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 19, 2005
(Draught) I was amazed to see that they sell these ciders in clear plastic bottles - I wonder what that does to their aging? The House is sold in a 2 litre plastic which makes you wonder if you are expected to break-out this 6.9% momma at the family picnic? I cannot image that the remainder wouldn’t go flat within a normal consumption period of this cider. In sampling this cider, I noticed that it was mildly sedimented in its clear golden body. There was actually a thin white head as well. The nose was slightly iodine and thin which translated into a watery, general consumption cider. Average.
