Bottle given to me as a Christmas gift a while back. Poured amber with quite a large off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread/yeast, and hop. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, texture a bit oily, average carbonation. Dandm (125) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2016
Ginger, cloves and Dank mouldy basement. Nice cloudy light gold colour with good, slightly less than average carbonation. Not sweet, not bitter, quite bland really. But I do like it. I wouldn’t have it sober, but it’s a nice change after 3 fresh IPAs. Patersoi (165) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2015
Hard work getting a head to form. Pours cloudy amber. Strong malty aroma. Malt dominates the early flavour closely dollowed by sharp bitterness that lingers through the finish.

Pours a cloudy dark amber with a thin head. Carbonation is lacking. Malty fruity aroma. Flavours of honey/caramel moving to weak coffee with a mild bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to moderate. Overall an okay beer but a long way from good. Monkeylurv (6) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 24, 2015 does not count
Bottle. Pours with a large off white head over a clear brown amber body. Aroma of fresh bread, caramel and with a piney hops notes. Toasty bread-citrus pine taste with both bitterness and sweetness evident in the finish. Medium to full bodied. Nice.

Floral hop aroma. Dark amber cloudy colour with low to medium carbonation. Very English, malt tones with light hopping felt throughout. Medium to heavy body with low to medium carbonation. hawthorne00 (3906) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 1, 2014
Bottle. Clear amber with a coat of off-white head. Aroma of boiled sweets, pears, light spices. Rather lifeless. Bittersweet with toffee, some vague fruit, a touch of blood. Dully bitter and a little spicy at the end. Just about OK. magpieken (129) - - APR 29, 2014
Bronze colour. Lightly carbonated, reasonable head leaving minimal lace. Subtle maltiness to start with some bitterness to finish. Nothing too lavish. Easy drinking, tradesman-like drop. gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - AUG 26, 2013
