Floral hop aroma. Dark amber cloudy colour with low to medium carbonation. Very English, malt tones with light hopping felt throughout. Medium to heavy body with low to medium carbonation.

Bottled. Deep brown, no head, malty taste, a bit like a like stout. Not sure this is the right beer though... App couldn't find the bar code. This one brewed by The Old Fart Brewing Company, Yorkshire, England. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours with a large off white head over a clear brown amber body. Aroma of fresh bread, caramel and with a piney hops notes. Toasty bread-citrus pine taste with both bitterness and sweetness evident in the finish. Medium to full bodied. Nice.

A LOT better than exspected. Dark brown colour. Nice malty and speciel aroma. Some sourness in the beginning. Not that carbonated. Nice malty flavour and palate. Hints of somewhat sweet, though not unpleasant in any way. Nice balance between the sweetness and a dry/sour feeling. Quite good brew.

Threepwood (107) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 10, 2010
Copper/amber in the glass with a thin persistent head. Caramel & toffee smells (nice). Nice malty flavours with a smooth mouthfeel, lingering bitterness in the finish. A little alcohol bite perhaps? In all a sessionable beer without being earth shattering.

Tasted from the bottle into a pint glass. It looks bronzed and slightly hazy with a reasonable off white head that provided excellent lacing. Nose is toasted malts with citrus and floral hops. Tongue is restrained sweet biscuity malts with a fruity bittersweet hoppy finish. Seems quite light bodied for the ABV with a potentially easy sessionability (if only it wasn’t so expensive Down Under). It is not a bad bottled representation of the style though. If only it had a little more bitterness...

rauchbier (3902) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2002
Bottle. Chestnut colour with good longlasting head and plenty of condition. Toffee and almond aromas, caramel malt and nuts in the mouth and a nutty malty finish with a lingering hop bitterness.

Pretty humorous label. Tasted better than I expected. Nothing great or horrible grabbed my attention. Mildly hopped and balanced.
