Draught at the Messrs Maguire pub in Dublin. Dry, well roasted stout with lots of coffee and a touch of cocoa. Very dry and flavorful. Typical but well-made dry stout. This was the best of the beers tasted. The pub is well worth visiting on the Liffy near the O’Connell Bridge. The stout poured pitch black with tan head that laced down the glass. You detect the aroma of coffee and smoke at the beginning. The stout was a medium body beverage with soft carbonation. Arôme malt grillé, biscuité avec fine touche houblonnée.
Palais est léger, présentant aussi ce profile malté et grillé alliant une légère présence de malt fumé.

On tap at the brewpub in Dublin. Standard looking stout, opaque dark brown with frothy nitrogen head. Nice and bitter, some roast malts and black coffee. Nothing particularly outstanding, but very solid. Would love to try it again someday.
