Draft @ Messrs, Dublin.
Nice red tint to a copper body. Light malty nose with some alcohol and toffee. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with a good creamy finish. A bit of hops at the end, tucked in with golden syrup too. Overall, a nice beer and my first non stout in the whole of Ireland. I sampled this pint on draught at the MessRS Maguire Bewpub in Central Dublin on 19-February-2009. Orangey-amber colour. Caramelly, earthy sweet aroma with light mushroomy notes. Herbal, fruity, with light caramel and even a hint of acidity. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 8, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Rich amber hue, nice color, head is slight. Aroma is tainted by glue and paint thinner. Is oily and buttery throughout. Is undrinkable, so something must have gone wrong.

Draught. Red with a nice lasting white head. Aroma is sweet with some fruit. Smooth mouth feel, with some malt and a hint of nuts in the finish. pete4999 (1445) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 3, 2010
On tap at the brewpub in Dublin. Poured a reddish brown with the nitrogen foam head. Tastes of some caramel, maybe some toasted almond. A little bit lighter on the hops than I hoped. Surprisingly crisp, because it looked to be creamy. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 20, 2010
tap at the brewpub - Pours dark amber, almost ruby red, with a lasting white head. It smells of lightly toasted caramel malt. The flavor is sweet, toasted caramel malt with a slightly bitter, lingering toasted malt finish. It’s decent though bland. KyotoLefty (10197) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 20, 2010
Draught at the Brewery in Dublin. A true Irish Red Ale from this brewpub, much better than mass-produced stuff. Malty, very fruity, slightly sweet aroma. Really good fruit flavor, with berries. A touch sweet, a bit of sour, a tuch earthy. Sweet-and-sour fruit finish. Very good. dnstone (3386) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 18, 2010
Reddish color with a thick white head. A bit maltier and hoppier than some of their others which is nice.
