2009-05-15. Dark amber - copper body with a modest beige head. Flavour has an interesting malty profile, tangy, light bitterness throughout, creamy finish with mild malt lingering. (6+) Aroma is mild but pleasant, light malt, sweet caramel touches over slightly drier malt, mild hops. (6+) Average palate is smooth. (3+) Overall impression is Kilkenny-esque but better. Enjoyable but on the mild side. On tap at the brewpub.

Draught at the Brewery in Dublin. A true Irish Red Ale from this brewpub, much better than mass-produced stuff. Malty, very fruity, slightly sweet aroma. Really good fruit flavor, with berries. A touch sweet, a bit of sour, a tuch earthy. Sweet-and-sour fruit finish. Very good. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 8, 2011
Draft @ Messrs, Dublin.
JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2004
Red-orange colour with a thick creamy white head. Again, lots of fruitiness in this one but also some woodsy, resiny hop aroma. Flavour is also fruity, with some residual sweetness and the dry-hopping is noticed (and appreciated). Finish is much more bitter than I expected from the style, like the Irish Ale I had at the Porterhouse. Still very good. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2009
[2142-20090515] Tap. Sweet floral yeast aroma with a touch of honey or toffee. Clear, amber orange body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. More floral sweet yeast in the flavour with a long yeasty aftertaste. Medium body is smooth and a little watery. Drinkable, good.

Fruit and malt aromas. Large white head. Amber coloured smooth and a little rich on the palate with some bitterness and wheat flavour in a malt finish. downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2009
Cask-conditioned at the Hillgrove Porter Stores, Bristol 19/03/09. Appealing, reddish amber in colour, with a moderate, off-white head. Sweet, caramel and dough aroma with a whiff of red berries. Flavour was cloyingly sweet, with heaps of barley sugar and crystallised fruit. One pint was enough. SudsMcDuff (8429) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - FEB 8, 2013

Just read that 48 cans of Red Bull were stolen from a garage down the road during a late night heist.
I don’t know how these people sleep at night.
On tap at Messrs Maguire in Dublin. Pours a deep ruby, copper red with a creamy, thick white head. Nose is sweet, malty, slight spice and a little metal. Flavor is sweet, bready with some cookie dough. Creamy on the tongue and easy to drink. larsga (7540) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 24, 2008
Medium shiny creamy lasting white head. Lovely amber body. Faint fruity malty aroma. Dry roasty honeyish caramelly taste with wooden, metallic notes. A bit watery. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Not bad. (0.3l draft at the brewpub.)
