Clean amber body with dense, creamy persistant white head.
Rich nutty toffee malt aroma, bit of roasted character in there.
Creamy texture, medium body and carbonation.
Sweet toffee, nut and faint roast coffee flavours. Bit of floral hop brings a reasonably bold bitterness.
Quite a good and flavoursome red ale. Enjoy this one alot. Tranquillity (2480) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 4, 2011
Draught at the brewpub in Dublin. Red body, thick off-white head. Almost no aroma, meek taste, almost on finish. Of course, this is compares to the other excellent beers at the brewpub... Nische (2432) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 7, 2013
On tap at Messrs Maguire pub in Dublin. Orangey-amber colour. Sweet aroma with caramel and some earthy tones. Fruity taste, with caramel and some honey. boto (2261) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAR 6, 2004
Draught at the Brewpub: It looked good enough, as it poured a clear, copper-amber color. There was a tight, white, nitro head on it. There was a bit of an aroma of pine and grapefruit hops to the nose. Where did they go? They were not evident in the taste at all. In fact, there wasn't much taste evident at all. It had some sweetness, but was thin and bland. Boring! Foxbush (2086) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 10, 2012
Thhis was the second ale tasted at the brewpub on the Liffy. I was able to get a tour of the brewery. It is a very compact brewery with limited space. They do a great job. This ale was a reddish brown in color with a creamy head. The cabonation was soft for this medium body beer. The ale could take more hops, but otherwise a very balanced ale. Smooth finish with no aftertaste.

On tap at the brewpub in Dublin. Poured a reddish brown with the nitrogen foam head. Tastes of some caramel, maybe some toasted almond. A little bit lighter on the hops than I hoped. Surprisingly crisp, because it looked to be creamy. screwball (1099) - Motala, SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2007
Red-brown colour. Creamy thick head. Fresh hops and sweetnes in aroma. Nuts as well in aroma. Some apples in flavor and quite dry finish. Deu (948) - Nantes, FRANCE - FEB 5, 2013
On tap at Messrs Maguire pub in Dublin. Orangey-amber colour. Caramelly, earthy sweet aroma with light mushroomy notes. Herbal, fruity, with light caramel and even a hint of acidity. Overall Ok
