Burton Summer Beer Festival, 2007. Golden beer with a cloudy body. The aroma is fruity like pineapple or peach juice. The flavour is fruity and peach with a very weak hint of banana. Overall an average fruity beer.
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2007 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of lemon, mashed banana and paper. Medium sweet with rather clean mouthfeel and fairly light body. No bitterness. Refreshing, but simple. downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2007

Hazy gold with a thin white head. The aroma is crisp and wheaty with hints of lemon and yeast. The flavor is refreshing and very appropriate - wheaty, yeasty, fruity and lemony, with a dash of white pepper and allspice. The finish is crisp - a little dry, and a little tart. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a tingle on the tongue. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2006

On tap at the brewpub. A hefe weiss. Rather thin, rather sweet, but not unpleasant. OK citrus finish. tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2006
Strong fruitiness in the aroma is suggestive of bananas and berries with some cinnamon/clove spiciness and plenty of strong wheat character. Opaque yellow gold coloured body is topped by a decent white head that recedes to a lasting cover and coats the glass with a meringue-like lacing. Strong wheat flavour which lasts through the spicy cloves and strong banana fruitiness leading through to a light finishing bitterness that adds the coda. Medium body is a bit syrupy perhaps due to carbonation that is somewhat low for the style. Sampled on tap at the brewpub (May-06). maeib (8751) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2006
Cask conditoned - gravity dispense - Peterborough BF. A hazy orange coloured beer with a touch of a white head. The aroma is toffee and banana and seems quite authentic. The taste is wheaty and yeasty. A touch of banana also. However it is very thin and watery in the aftertaste. Doesn’t even begin to live up to its aroma.
