1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Faint sour malt aroma. Cloudy golden color with sparse head. Tastes like water, at its best like extrermely weak ginger ale. Palate- again nothing. I will say that n a country liek Ethiopia, it is probably very thirst quenching...

I like this natural tasting beer, that reminds slightly of beers that one used to get in Eastern countries before modern breweries took over. Almost a bread lining taste in this brew. jookos (7046) - FINLAND - JUL 17, 2015
Bottle. Orange light hazy. Murky malts on nose, some tart orange, papery cardboard. Light med body. Feels rather belgy really. Ripe fruits, oranges, but all in a stuffy cardboardy manner.Ibrew2or3 (8828) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 3, 2015
33cl bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma swells with sweet pear and apple candy blended with an odd somehow earthy undefinable “stuff” sort of sensation. Hmm. The taste is similar with a mild meat like odd earthiness blended into sweet apple and pear sweet fruitiness creating a flavor that isn’t all that inviting. It then becomes more cereal like to midway and into the finish and tries in vein to turn this thing around with more “beer” notes but in the end the cereal notes fail to do so. daknole (11402) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - APR 28, 2015
Dammit ibrew2or 3! This is some wonderfully awful beer. Just stank and sweet and gross. Not even a new country tick. Dammmmmmit.

Golden colored beer with a lasting white head. Paper aroma, maybe metallic. Malty and sweety, not very balanced. solidfunk (9409) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - DEC 16, 2014
This one is pretty rough, even on Ethiopian standards. A little too much of that sour mash malt finish on this. The St. George’s was a much better choice next to this. Bottle at Zenebech’s with some excellent food that somehow made it alright. jamestulloch (4330) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 23, 2014
Keg at The Obelisk, Addis Ababa airport. Clear golden body with a thin white film. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of grain, newspaper and a hint of lemon. Flavour of sour grain. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Bordering on undrinkable. apotekhin (79) - ISRAEL - AUG 2, 2014
Just like the other beer from the brewery but maltier and sweeter. But really bad altogether. Ungstrup (38489) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2014
Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has niotes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and metal, leading to a bitter finish.
