Best Irish craft beer currently around! Tried the cask, even better in its aroma. Vir4030 (603) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2012
On tap at Magpie’s in Dalkey, Dublin. Pours a clear copper with a great head. Aroma and flavor match, mildish but with this really great grassy dry bite. imdownthepub (15131) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Gold with white head. This is a sharp, dry, heavily hopped beer. There is a good crisp biscuity body, light with a baked bread note. This carries a spicy, peppery hop flavour, quite intense and bitter. Really very good. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 31, 2013

On tap at the Mad Monk in Midleton, Cork. Light, refreshing beer with great taste. Wish it was available in bottles. dublin1978 (1) - IRELAND - AUG 8, 2014 does not count
The beer is clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high creamy off white head that died down and left a collar around the edge, patches of bubbles on the surface, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass
Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of citrusy and grassy hops along with a light amount of associated bitterness.
This beer is easy to drink. Although it is mostly dominated by hop flavors, there isn’t too much in the way of bitternes
