A little gentler on the hops and fruitier than some if it’s new-generation Irish cousins, but it still packs a little kick. Caramel, soft fruit and spruce aroma. Fairly sweet flavour, more fruit, caramel and a restrained bitterness. Pretty tasty.
Tasting tray in Dublin. Amber with white head. Fuller malt notes for this beer, but still carrying a good, healthy, hop wallop. Tropical fruits to the fore, a bit like a tropical fruit punch. Some sweetness, lasting on the palate. Decent. elbernays (1479) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 4, 2014
