Well, I expected something deeper and generous considering it’s supposed to be a christmas beer, but I’ve been rather disappointed. Not bad but a bit generic. Amber color, lots of spices and hints of bread, light red fruits. Alcohol a bit too present in mouth despite its very low abv... Not really great, but lot bad either. PARTIALLY APPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

Very pretty bottle that is entirely covered in a sticker depicting a winter town. The liquid itself is amber in color. Some spices like saffran and muscat on the nose, also a hint of pepper and, of course, a dominant malt aroma. Taste is medium bitter at first, then a little bit of spice and chocolate-taste kicks in. A spicy aftertaste lingers with some hints of vegetables, but not enough to make it really unpleasant. It’s not a bad beer.

750ml bottle (e-Drinks, Tallinn)
Clear amber, brief head. Sweetish stodgy mashy aroma, some liver aspects. Taste is pure leberkase. Scarily savoury. Some sausagemeat stuffing too, herbs and pepper. Palate is alright, fullish, but carbination is a bit high. Finish is blessedly brief. At least there’s not much sign of alcohol. But this is baaaad.

Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 1, 2017
750ml bottle. Clear amber color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Herbal, spices, sweet, ginger in aroma. Cookies, dusty, gingerbread, spices in taste. Soft carbonation. Herbal and dusty in aftertaste. Light body. Drinkable brew.

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2017
Unexpected tick round The Jenners, April 2016. Bronze with barely a skim of foam. Soggy plum sprinkled liberally with mace, caraway, flat Coke fake spice aroma. Spiced biscuits dipped in Vimto flavour. Ridiculous but perfectly drinkable.

suurjuust (3538) - ESTONIA - DEC 22, 2016
650ml bottle. Orange copper beer, big fluffy white head. Nose is slightly herbal, malty and sweet. Flavor is slightly corny, malty, floral notes in the finish. Slightly hoppy finish. I don’t actively hate it, but a christmas beer?

TBone (17530) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2016
Bottled 330ml (Saveur)
Deep golden color, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruity. Medium-bodied. Sweet and a bit sticky. Apple flavor - sugared apple wine - is dominant. Light spices. Feels like off-flavours.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 12, 2016
[email protected] Beer Session (from Saveur Biere). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is grainy, mildly rubbery and some earthy notes. Flavour is marzipan, some grains, mild sweetish rubbery notes as well as some strange unclean toffeeish notes.
