Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, flowers, light wet hay. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, flowers, caramel, candy - sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
65 cL bottle, fantastic looking plastic wrapped yet colourful bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly collapsing white head. Aroma is malty and vague spiced. Sweet malty flavoured, light dry spice note. Annis seed like note into a lingering sweet malty finish. Ungstrup (37561) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2007
Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of malt and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. I find it boring. joergen (28106) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2007

Beer Session (from Saveur Biere). Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is grainy, mildly rubbery and some earthy notes. Flavour is marzipan, some grains, mild sweetish rubbery notes as well as some strange unclean toffeeish notes.
(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Clear, amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Lightly sweet aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with sweetish, roasted malt and a dry, hoppy finish. Obviously bottom fermented, more of a Bock really. 191207 madmitch76 (24791) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2011

Warning! Early amateur rating! Brown beer. Moderate carbonation. Sweetish and mildy malty. Better when cold or very cold. Slightly fruity.
Bottle at home ... Thanks to Stephen (gowdy)(well probably his wife) for this ... copper ... sweet ... quite a bitt of spice ... little caramel malt ... little bit of lemon fruitness. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2007
650ml bottle from Cask & Glass. Tonbridge. Orange/copper with lasting beige head. Strange fruit spice bready aroma. Doughy and tinnedfish. No seriously, it smells of tinned sardines. Better in mouth, still a bit of mackerel though. Some biscuity malt, but there is a meaty oily fish thing going on. Hey a beer with Omega 5 oils. That would be great and healthy too. Some spice on the end. This site has meant that I have had the opportunity to try a lot of beers, but this is seriously one of the oddest things I’ve put in my mouth. Rest of the beer is a pretty standard French biere de garde amber. But the oily fish, my god. Try it by all means, but please don’t try to drink a whole bottle. saxo (18300) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2012
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, bread, hops and notes of caramel.
