Deep golden color, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruity. Medium-bodied. Sweet and a bit sticky. Apple flavor - sugared apple wine - is dominant. Light spices. Feels like off-flavours.
Bottle, 65cl. Nice, clear, deep golden body with a good carbonation and a medium-sized, dense, off-white head. The aroma is nice, citrusy and fruity. A bit on the artificial side though, but nice. There’s some malty notes as well. The flavor isn’t at the same level. It’s even more artificial, citrusy, malty-sweet and a little spicy. Medium to full, slightly sticky mouthfeel. It has a long finish with the same citrusy and fruity, artificial flavor, a good bitterness and some spicyness in the far back. Not sure how much I like it. I’m sure that I don’t like it as a Christmas beer though. It’s quaffable in a way, but too sweet and artificial. (071122) FatPhil (17165) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 1, 2017
750ml bottle (e-Drinks, Tallinn) MiP (15981) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 13, 2014
Clear amber, brief head. Sweetish stodgy mashy aroma, some liver aspects. Taste is pure leberkase. Scarily savoury. Some sausagemeat stuffing too, herbs and pepper. Palate is alright, fullish, but carbination is a bit high. Finish is blessedly brief. At least there’s not much sign of alcohol. But this is baaaad.
Bottle, 5.8%. Weak caramelly aroma, a little vegetable as well. Clear dark golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is sweet and spicy. Tastes of orange peel and some OK malt. Does not sound too good, but it is not bad, afterall.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with some grassy/spicy aspects. Med body. Flavor is bready with some spicy/grassy aspects. It certainly has much more flavor than a standard pale lager. Finishes fairly dry and noticeably hoppy. Arguably a bit underrated. imdownthepub (15425) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2010
Bottled, 250ml from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Brownish gold with white head. Sweet and malty beer, could have done with a show from the alcohol for a Christmas beer but there was a definite absence, toffee, caramel. No effort really. gunnfryd (15330) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 10, 2008
Bottle. Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is dry, sweet, yeast. Flavour is dry, sweet, yeast, citrus, spices. Not a christmas beer, but i like it in a way. HenrikSoegaard (14648) - Randers, DENMARK - DEC 10, 2012
66 cl bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. deasent but too expensive and hardly a christmas beer. Dogbrick (14009) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 2, 2011
Pours a dark amber-gold color with a medium somewhat fizzy white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, musty malt and fruit. Light body with a sweet syrupy mouthfeel and flavors of caramel malt, citrus and a hint of hops. The finish is short and malty. Guess I shouldn’t approach a beer with certain style expectations due to a holiday label but this beer is pretty forgettable regardless of the season.
