Bottle 75cl. An dark amber beer with a big white head. The beer is not complex at all, very less malty, the bitter-orange taste is too present (like drinking beer with Picon). Quite disepointing beer less intresting than the Pils one. kappldav123 (6158) - GERMANY - OCT 25, 2010
Bottle looks very good, really christmas-like. Beer in the glass copper-coloured, small head. Starts strong and spicy, like a good festbier. But the finish is more and more metallically and dry, not as spicy as the beginning. Not my favourite. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
Bottle. A golden to amber beer with a white head. The aroma is of caramel malt and light fruity. The taste is sweet caramel malt, and fruity. Medium body with a light dry finsh. JulienHuxley (5980) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 5, 2014
Bottle. Clear amber pour with thin white head that recedes quickly to a very smallish ring. Aroma is quite spicy, light clove/nutmeg notes with bready malt aromas. Taste is light, very spicy, light sweetness. Palate is medium bodied, light carbonation. A bit overspiced, but quite clean. Not bad. 250ml bottle from Monoprix, Marseille. A mildly syrupy lager. Not much happening - some honey notes. Drinkable and acceptable, but not otherwise note worthy.

Received a four pack and tulip glass under my tree this year, picked up at the Christmas market in Metz. Deep copper hue, faint head. Spicy smell, with just the right amount of carbonation. A nice take on the Belgian style wih some added spiceness for Christmas. Different from the German Christmas beers I have been drinking...a nice change of pace. Bottle. Aldi. Served in a matching glass, cos it’s Christmas, innit? Clear, light amber colour. Ring and island of bright, white head. Nose has caramel biscuit. Toffee. Cheap orange juice. Bready lager malts. Taste is mostly sweet, with a light, metallic bitterness. Drunk well chilled, the mouthfeel is light and clean enough. Some bitterness to finish. Not bad. I’ll manage the other three that came in the box, easy. ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2009
Oh man, what a bummer. The hefty Norwegian price tag kept my expectations up all the way until the pouring. While the smell is interesting, the beer just splashes freely into my huge Du Monde Blanc 0,7 (in effect, line is a bit further down) glass and goes mute and deaf in about 2 seconds. No head, no life, despite my effort to create some foam to smell and look on top of this thing. Bleak, slightly-tanned-lager appearance, not exactly what I had hoped for. This is definitely one of the beers I should’ve read the ratings for BEFORE purchase... Oh well, down it goes, with all its weak, somebody-dissolved-my-chewing-gum flavor to it. Doesn’t even hold enough alcohol to get my consolation drunkenness on. Bad, bad, bad. And they dare brand this s**t Christmas beer??? zacgillbanks (5651) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2017
Bottle from Aldi, Washington. Bright amber coloured with a very large white head of foam. It has a sweet cinnamon, dried fruit and toffee flavour with ginger notes on the slight soapy, warming finish. Just ok. Bamsen78 (5617) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 13, 2014
Bottle @ Hoppy Advent Race in Space, Sønderborg. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of hops and some malty touches. Sweetish, malty flavour, with estery notes and hoppy touches. Mild, malty afteraste. Well, drinkable but nothing very exciting. Rather sweet for the style.
